I've been at Capital One since 2024. On personal loans and card payments I own a Go orchestration API that takes a loan from application to disbursement, and I've led data store and GraphQL migrations across hundreds of services. Before that I worked on the consumer identity data platform, tuning PostgreSQL schemas and Spark streaming jobs behind real-time fraud scoring.
I like work that spans the whole stack, from Go services and databases to Next.js front ends, and I'm most interested in putting AI to work in real products. I'm also studying machine learning part-time at Virginia Tech.
